The first step in the company formation process is understanding your business goals.
Based on your objectives, we help determine the most suitable company structure, jurisdiction, and business activity for your venture in the UAE.
Our consultants guide you in selecting the right Free Zone and licensing structure depending on your business model and expansion plans.
Once the company structure is finalised, the required documentation is prepared and submitted.
In most cases, the following documents are required:
• Passport copy of shareholder(s)
• Passport-size photograph
• Proposed company name
• Brief description of business activities
For corporate shareholders, additional documents such as company incorporation certificates and board resolutions may be required.
Our team assists you throughout the documentation process to ensure that all requirements are completed accurately.
After submission of the application and required documentation, the Free Zone authority reviews the application.
Once approved, the business licence is typically issued within approximately 5 working days, depending on the jurisdiction.
Following this, the official company documents such as incorporation certificates and licence copies are issued.
After the company licence is issued, the company can apply for an Establishment Card, which allows the company to sponsor visas for its shareholders or employees.
This process usually takes around 5–7 working days.
Once the Establishment Card is issued, the company can proceed with the residency visa application for the shareholder.
The applicant may then travel to the UAE to complete:
• Medical examination
• Emirates ID registration
• Residency visa stamping
After completion of these steps, the shareholder receives a UAE Residency Visa.
The cost of starting a company in Dubai depends primarily on two factors:
• The Free Zone selected
• The number of residency visas required
Many advertisements online promote extremely low setup prices. In most cases, these packages are for zero-visa companies, which may not always be suitable for entrepreneurs planning to actively operate their business in the UAE.
A general estimate for Free Zone company formation is:
• Zero visa company: Lower cost option
• 1 visa package: Standard option for entrepreneurs
• Multiple visa packages: For businesses planning to hire employees
Our consultants help you understand the actual cost structure and recommend the most suitable option for your business.
